Notice of Candidate Filing
Affidavits of Candidacy are available from the office of the school district clerk.
The filing fee for this office is $2.00.
Completed Affidavits of Candidacy, together with the filing fee, must be filed with the school district clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 28, 2026.
Baseball practice will be held in the elementary gym today, Wednesday, July 8, due to field conditions.
A couple of reminders for summer rec this week:
- The track meet is this evening with registration at 5:00 and events starting at 5:30.
- Tomorrow, we are making up our game with Lakefield, along with the regular scheduled game. The Big Mites game will start at 12:30, and the Little Mites game will start sometime between 2:00 and 2:30.

Due to the field conditions, summer rec baseball will be held in the elementary gym. There will be no shoes allowed so please make sure they have on socks.
Another round of group swimming lessons will be held July 20-23. There
will be a 10-person maximum for each level. When registering, please specify the
level you need and the time and date you want. According to American Cross
Standards, your child must be 5 to be registered in level 1. The cost of swimming
lessons is $50 per student. Pre-registration is required. Checks need to
be made out to Fulda Swimming Pool. There is also the option of semi-private or
private lessons. Please contact me for additional information. If you have any

There are a couple of deadlines for summer rec field trips:
The Slaytona Beach deadline is June 29.
ValleyFair deadline is July 1. There needs to be 15 people signed up in order for this field trip to go.

Reminder to those who have signed up for the zoo field trip on June 26, the bus will leave at 8:15 and return 1:45. Please remember to bring your sack lunch.
Due to work on the floors, both the Elementary and High School gyms will be closed for the rest of the week.
Another wonderful parade yesterday in the Mt. Lake Pow-Wow parade, FHS Band! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! 🇺🇸😁🎺🎷🥁 Only one more this summer, the Heron Lake Blue Heron Days parade this Saturday.
