There are a couple of deadlines for summer rec field trips:
The Slaytona Beach deadline is June 29.
ValleyFair deadline is July 1. There needs to be 15 people signed up in order for this field trip to go.

Reminder to those who have signed up for the zoo field trip on June 26, the bus will leave at 8:15 and return 1:45. Please remember to bring your sack lunch.
Due to work on the floors, both the Elementary and High School gyms will be closed for the rest of the week.
Another wonderful parade yesterday in the Mt. Lake Pow-Wow parade, FHS Band! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! 🇺🇸😁🎺🎷🥁 Only one more this summer, the Heron Lake Blue Heron Days parade this Saturday.
Due to scheduling conflicts, the pool will be closed on Tuesday, June 23, and Wednesday, June 24. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Here is the link to register for the local track meet on July 6. Registration (if not previously registered) will begin at 5:00, with events starting at 5:30. The Google form will be open until noon on July 6.

The good news is the pool is fixed. A huge thank you to those who worked hard to get it fixed.

The baseball games that were postponed from June 11 will be played in Fulda as a nine-inning game, essentially a doubleheader. These games will be played on July 7th, starting at 12:30 and 2:30.
Reminder: Friday, June 19, is the first summer field trip. If you are pre-registered, the bus will be leaving for Marshall at 8:50 AM to watch Toy Story 5. Because of the field trip, there will be no baseball practice on Friday, June 19.
Due to the wet field, baseball practices will be held at the elementary gym today, June 17.
Due to a water main break, the pool is closed for open swim until further notice.
The baseball game scheduled today against Lakefield has been postponed to a later date due to the weather. The date and time will be posted once finalized.
Due to issues with the bases and parts arriving on Monday, the baseball game against Lakefield on June 11 has been moved to Lakefield. The bus will leave from the high school horseshoe at 11:45. The big mites will play first at 1:00, with the little mites to follow at 2:00. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Work on the Fulda Public School building project has begun. Fencing has been put in place and the removal of interior lights and ceilings along with preparing the site for the new additions is underway.
Today is the first day of the June swimming lesson session. There is still room to sign up for the July session. The deadline for the Great Plains Zoo field trip is Friday, June 12. Please contact susan.lee@isd505.org if you are interested in either of these.

Due to ongoing construction at the High School, most building entrances are currently blocked.
✅ The only open entrance is the Southeast Door, located at the front of the school along the horseshoe drive.
This information is especially important for:
🎵 Summer Band students and families
🏢 Anyone visiting the District Office
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as construction continues!

Our Little Learners and Bright Bunch students have been busy learning and exploring. From hands-on activities to lots of smiles and laughter, it's been a wonderful start to the summer!
