Mrs. Dibble's 5th grade students did a fall project where they decorated a banana as a famous book/movie character and then designed a box to create a matching setting! Lots of creativity on display! This afternoon, their banana character is going to magically turn into a banana split for all their hard work!

Mrs. Timmerman's ELL students have been working hard on using descriptive language in their listening, speaking, reading, and writing. To wrap up the week, they enjoyed a fun "Monster Descriptions" activity! One student drew a monster card from a pile and described it without showing their partner, while the other had to draw the monster based on the description alone. Once the drawings were complete,  they revealed the cards to compare. It was so much fun to see how closely the drawings matched and how well the students used their descriptive language and listening skills.
