Fulda Public Schools is pleased to announce that, during the Special Board Meeting held on May 7, the Board of Education approved bids for the District’s upcoming facility renovation project. The bids were received within the established project budget, allowing the District to move forward with construction beginning this spring.
All bids came in at or below the District's board-approved project budget. Following evaluation by the District's construction manager — who assessed contractor qualifications, proposed approach, and alignment with the project's educational and safety objectives — the companies were recommended to the Board based on best overall value.
The project includes a comprehensive set of improvements across the District:
- High School addition
- Secure entrances
- New Elementary School office
- Extensive remodeling to accommodate Elementary classrooms
- New track and baseball/softball field
- New gymnasium/storm shelter
The District will execute agreements with the following contractors:
- BCI Construction, Inc., Sauk Rapids, MN
- Bisbee Plumbing & Heating, Marshall, MN
- Loosbrock Electrical, Fulda, MN
- Paape Companies, Mankato, MN
Fulda Public Schools appreciates the continued support of the community as these improvements move forward and looks forward to the positive impact these enhancements will have on students, staff, and the overall learning environment.
