After 2 different press conferences today it still has not been made official by the Governor or the Commissioner of Education that we will begin distance learning on Monday the 30th. We are all assuming it will happen and it most likely will be made official tomorrow with the next press conference of the Governor at 2:00 p.m. At this point and time, our employees have packets ready for the elementary and google classroom ready for the secondary to begin Monday. There will be notices going out in the next two days about the delivery and pickup of the packets and the devices that may be needed by some of the families. Pending any other announcements to the contrary, all employees of the district will report to work on Monday and begin the distance learning and working out the kinks. I will send out another update tomorrow.
We will get packets and devices for each community and also will deliver to the rural areas. We will keep you updated as we move through this.
