Dear National Honor Society Applicant:

I want to thank you for taking the time to complete an application for National Honor Society. Your academic success demonstrates your commitment to high standards and a value for education. This commitment has allowed you to proceed past the first criteria in the selection process. Congratulations! You can be very proud to be among the elite scholars of the Fulda School District. However, as stated in the application letter, there are three more areas of criteria that remain to be evaluated.

The deadline date to turn in completed applications is 8:30 am Wednesday, November 1, 2023.  Applications need to be emailed to me at michael.pagel@isd505.org or physically handed to me.  If submitted via email you also need to verbally make sure I received it.  No late applications will be accepted.

The process will go through a committee composed of five volunteer teachers who will be given the task of evaluating and scoring each applicant. I will also serve on the committee, but do not have voting privileges. Once they have reviewed and scored the applications, they will make their recommendations for new members. 

The selection process is difficult and not all applicants will be chosen for membership. Whether you are chosen or not, you are a student of high standards. I thank you for your academic discipline and encourage you to continue to build on your success.
